Thank you for writing Tom. I enjoyed the piece. I arrived in Singapore from NYC in 2010 on a four month work contract. I’m still living in Asia. I return home to New York twice a year to visit my family, always thinking about if it is time to move back. I always return to Asia, my current home. I’ve lived in The Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand. I do not have anything bad to say about my homeland. I am happy to have been born in the US. It is an advantage. But I call Asia my home now.
